How do we arrange for a meeting?
We offer a no-obligation consultation to view sample albums and images, discuss your plans and assist with the time planning for your wedding day or event. Consultations are by appointment only, please call for available times.
Evening (between 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.) are the most popular.
Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m.to 6:00 p.m.
Limited weekend time slots are also available for consultation.
Can I customize a package?
During the consultation, we will determine your needs and budget and work with you to select the right package or customize a package to meet your specific requirements.
What type of photographs do you take?
During a typical wedding a large variety of photographs are taken to capture all the important moments. We shoot posed shots, both formal and casual, and candids. We are very flexible and your special requests are always taken into consideration.
How much time should we allow for photography?
Between the end of the ceremony and and start of the reception, ideally you should allow 2 hours for photographs to be taken (not including travel time if you are going to a separate location). We can work with less if necessary, but in order to provide a generous selection of images 2 hours is recommended. If your coverage does not include a reception stay, you should also allow at least 1/2 hour at the reception location to pose some shots before starting dinner.
What preparations can we expect before the wedding?
The photographer will view the primary photography location before the wedding. One week before the wedding, the photographer will also have a detailed consultation, either on the phone or in person, to confirm locations and the agenda for the wedding day, discuss specific shots and go over any special requests.
When should I book a photographer for a wedding?
Couples secure a photographer anywhere from 1 1/2 years to 6 months before the wedding. Booking well in advance, gives you the peace of mind to know that your chosen date is secured and the package price is locked in, as the agreed upon price will not change even if prices go up. Couples booking for the next calendar year are also eligible to take advantage of bonus features added to their package at no additional charge.
When are the payments due?
Once you have determined that we offer what you are looking for, a retainer is required to secure your wedding date. We offer a 3 payment option with retainer at the time of booking, the second payment is due 10 days prior to the wedding and the final payment on receipt of digital files or 30 days after the event, whichever comes first. If you prefer, a monthly payment plan can also be arranged.
What methods of payment do you offer?
We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, PAYPAL, e-transfer and INTERAC. For the monthly payment plan, payments will be processed by e-transfer or post dated cheque. If you are signed up for our on line gift registry, all credits will be applied to your 2nd payment and any remaining credits to your final payment.
How long does it take to get my pictures?
Your proofs will be ready 2 weeks after wedding. Your albums and package contents will be ready 4 weeks after receipt of your image selections.
